About Bishop Tony Campbell

Bishop Tony H. CampBell Bishop Tony H. CampBell is a servant leader, visionary entrepreneur, and faithful steward whose life reflects a deep commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God. Anointed to build, nurture, and inspire others, he has devoted his life to ministry, leadership, and community service. In 1987, Bishop CampBell founded Yeshua Church of God in Christ in Manassas, Virginia. Under his leadership, the ministry has grown steadily, expanding its outreach and impact throughout the community. Significant milestones include multiple sanctuary renovations, the acquisition of a church bus and refrigerated food truck to support outreach efforts, and the early payoff of the church mortgage in 2022.
Most recently, Yeshua completed its fourth sanctuary renovation in 2024. Beyond the local church, Bishop CampBell has faithfully served the Church of God in Christ in numerous jurisdictional and national leadership roles, including Administrative Assistant, District Superintendent, Chairman of the Jurisdictional Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Ordination Board, and member of the National Publishing Board. Professionally, he served 28 years with IBM and Lockheed Martin Federal Systems before founding Butch Enterprises, Inc., an SBA-certified 8(a) company, which he successfully sold in 2006. His entrepreneurial ventures have also included restaurant ownership, real estate investments, and community-focused business initiatives.
Bishop CampBell’s passion for service extends beyond the pulpit through Yeshua’s USDA Bread of Life Food Pantry, community evangelism, hospital and nursing home ministry, and mentorship programs. In recognition of his faithful service, he has received numerous honors, including the Ministerial Living Legend Award. On June 23, 2021, Bishop CampBell was consecrated as an Auxiliary Bishop in the Church of God in Christ by Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard in Memphis, Tennessee. A graduate of Alfred State University with a degree in Business Management, Bishop CampBell has been married to Evangelist Missionary Joyce M. CampBell for more than 51 years. Together they are blessed with three children—Matthew, Rachel, and David—and four grandchildren: Isaiah, Grace, Genesis, and Marcus. Bishop CampBell’s life and ministry continue to exemplify faith, vision, servant leadership, and God’s enduring grace.
